Can my child attend school during lockdown?
School is open only to vulnerable children/children of critical workers only where a place has been confirmed.
Children have been reorganised into phase group bubbles. They will continue to be taught by teachers and support staff from their year group phase so that they have a familiar face. This is the case for pupils attending school or learning remotely.
If you have a place and no longer need it, please advise us straight away so we can allocate it to another family.
Further applications for critical worker places will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The Government requires that all children who must stay at home access our remote learning provision. We register pupils' engagement with remote learning activities. From next week we will provide live lessons each day for pupils at home, our class teachers will add the timings for each class on the weekly timetable and the zoom meeting link, this will be uploaded to Seesaw or Tapestry on a Monday morning by 9am. We will record these for families to access at other times where it is not possible to attend the live sessions. Our arrangements for remote education are available here. Please contact your child's teacher for any support or if you have any difficulty accessing the materials.
The school office is closed with the exception of signing in medication. Class staff may be unable to deal with individual queries in person. If you have any messages to pass onto your child’s class teacher, please telephone or email the office or use your class email. Please do this the day before if possible.
